One person may have more than one case or hold. Completion in a single matter does not prove total release. Ask whether every hold cleared and whether the destination was the community or another agency.

The sheriff owns the local booking and discharge data. County Court or Common Pleas owns the signed case record. ODRC owns prison release and state supervision data. VINELink relays custody events. No official Harrison source gives one retention period for all of these records, and online visibility is not the same as agency retention.

The Sheriff's Office also lists 978 East Market Street and Sheriff@harrisoncountyohio.gov. Ohio law generally does not require a requester to identify themselves or state a purpose. “Promptly” and “within a reasonable period” depend on the record and circumstances, so no unsupported number of days should be promised.
Harrison County Record Boundaries

The detail can show sentence, jail credit, institution, Expected Release Date/Parole Eligibility Date, release detail, and supervision. The expected date is projected or pending parole consideration. It is not an actual timestamp. “Released” and “APA Supervision” are different filters, and “Violator At Large” is an absconder category rather than a live address locator.

That last step matters because a Harrison prisoner may be in Cadiz, Jefferson County, Carroll County, or a state reception setting. Transit planning should follow verified community release, not an assumed Out Date. No official source gives a general release-time, exit-door, property-return, weekend, holiday, or automatic-ride process.
