Nature of This Resource

Harrison County Released Inmates is an independent reference site. It is not part of a sheriff’s office, jail, court, parole agency, corrections department, federal agency, or other public office. The site does not keep official records. It cannot determine a person’s current custody status, direct a facility to release anyone, change a government record, submit a filing, or act for a visitor before an agency or court.

The site points visitors toward public resources concerning Harrison County Jail, contract custody locations, Ohio state corrections, post-release supervision, court records, and federal custody. Some pages also connect to outside research tools. Those links are intended to make sources easier to find, but they do not turn this private site into the owner or issuer of the records reached through them.

Acceptable Use Rules

• Do not use the site in a way that violates federal, Ohio, or local law.
• Do not use information found here to stalk, harass, intimidate, or threaten another person.
• Do not rely on site content for hiring, housing, lending, insurance, or another regulated eligibility decision.
• Do not seek access to accounts, servers, files, or systems without authorization.

No Consumer Reports

Harrison County Released Inmates is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. It does not provide background checks, credit reports, consumer reports, or screening services. Its advertising partners do not provide those services through this site either. By using the site, you agree that neither its content nor information returned by a linked tool will be used for an FCRA-covered purpose, including the following:

• Deciding whether to hire, retain, promote, discipline, or dismiss a worker.
• Evaluating an applicant or occupant for a rental or other residential arrangement.
• Assessing creditworthiness, lending terms, or an insurance premium.

Harrison County Released Inmates does not operate those destinations and does not endorse every statement, product, or service they contain. Service Provided As Is

The site, its content, and its features are offered “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent allowed by law, no express or implied warranty is made concerning:

• The absence of errors, defects, harmful code, or security weaknesses.
• The scope, quality, or completeness of results supplied by a search partner.

Custody, release, court, warrant, and supervision information can change without notice. Nothing published here is an official statement from the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office, Harrison County Jail, an Ohio court, ODRC, or another public agency. Verify a record with the office that created it. Ohio public-record access is governed by ORC 149.43 and other applicable laws and exceptions, not by these terms.

Limits of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Harrison County Released Inmates and its owners, operators, contributors, and partners will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss arising from access to the site, inability to use it, reliance on its content, use of an outside link, or use of a third-party search tool. This limitation applies regardless of the theory asserted and even if the possibility of loss was known.

Your Duty to Indemnify

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Harrison County Released Inmates, its owners, operators, contributors, and partners from claims, liabilities, losses, judgments, costs, and expenses that arise from your use of the site, your violation of these terms, or your infringement of another person’s rights. This obligation includes reasonable legal fees and related defense costs where the law permits them.

Ownership of Site Materials

Unless a different owner is identified, the site’s original text, graphics, logos, page design, and code belong to Harrison County Released Inmates or its content partners and are protected by applicable intellectual-property law. Government records reached through an outbound link remain subject to the rules that govern those source materials. You may not reproduce, distribute, republish, modify, sell, or create derivative works from protected site material without prior written permission.

Updates to These Terms

These Terms & Conditions may be revised at any time. A revised version becomes effective when it is posted on this page unless the posting states a later effective date. You are responsible for reviewing the current version when you return. Continued use after a change is posted constitutes acceptance of that change.

Suspension or Loss of Access

Access to all or part of the site may be restricted, suspended, or terminated at any time, for any lawful reason, and without advance notice. This may occur when activity threatens security, disrupts service, violates these terms, creates legal risk, or otherwise harms the site or its visitors. The right to limit access does not create a duty to monitor every use.

Ohio Law Controls

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to rules that would select another jurisdiction’s law. Any dispute concerning the site or these terms must be brought in a court with proper jurisdiction in Ohio, subject to any law that requires a different forum or process.

If One Term Is Invalid

If a court with authority finds any provision invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will stay in effect. The affected language will be limited or adjusted only as much as necessary to make it enforceable while preserving its intended purpose as far as the law allows.
